I purchased this same model 3 years ago this month. It cost about $50.00 more, but I couldn't be happier. I use it daily. I'm an avid sewer. I recently made window curtains. I mostly use it for staight stitching, but the buttonholer is easy to use, as are all the special feet, the instruction booklet is user friendly and the staff at Brother International is very helpful if you need extra parts or have any questions.
